We Have Arrived!

We have arrived safely. After a wonderful lunch  at Cheer's, we have checked into the Maya Mountain Lodge.  This will be our home for the next two days!  Tomorrow, we get up early and travel to Tikal in Guatemala.  Let the adventure begin!

Introduction

After hours of preparation, several class meetings, collecting a mountain of mathematics and literacy supplies, and packing them all up to take with us; our team of faculty, staff and students are finally packed and ready for the International Teaching Experience 2016 in Belize, Central America.  

We are very excited as we continue making our final preparations for our trip at the end of the month! We have all been working hard to prepare for our students in Belize.  We look forward to this incredible opportunity.

We hope that you will enjoy following our blog.  We will post reflections each day as we travel, teach, and learn.
